Trainings

CDE will offer trainings to educators throughout the year and on four designated professional development days as proscribed by EEC. These trainings are free to all CDE affiliated educators. EEC requires that educators participate in the professional development day trainings, and if they participate, they will be reimbursed the amount they would have received if they provided child care services. According to EEC, failure to participate means that the educator will not be reimbursed. CDE has a separate listing of possible tuition reimbursement for college classes in early education.

CPR, AED and First Aid Courses

ADULT, INFANT AND CHILD

In order to care for children, EEC licensing rules require that educators keep their Infant & Child CPR and First Aid current. CPR expires every year and the First Aid expires every two years.
